Although we’ve had a theme every year since 1973, there is no policy that governs the specific process we might use to choose the theme. In the recent years we have engaged the membership and the public to suggest themes that would then be placed on a ballot for members at or near the Annual General Meeting at the beginning of September.
Given everything on the line with this year’s election, we thought it prudent to wait until the results were known to move forward with theme selection.
Submit an idea for our 2025 theme. We’re looking for themes that encapsulate the spirit of the Stonewall Resistance of 1969 and the symbolic renewal of the TLBG Rights movement, themes that can ignite that spirit of resistance in a new generation, and bring the queer community together for a moment of Joy.
Members are invited to enjoy complimentary food and drink in small groups, and to engage one another in discussion on the following topics. Please send your notes / thoughts / comments to [email protected].
